Pipe bomb explodes outside Derry home
Tuesday, 8 June 2010
A pipe bomb has exploded outside a house in the Ardgrange area of Londonderry.
The front door at Ardgrange, Springtown Road, was damaged but the family inside escaped injury.
Army technical officers attended shortly after midnight and residents in three houses were evacuated.
The SDLP's Mark Durkan said: ""Everyone has suffered as a result of this attack. It is fortunate that no-one was injured. A lot of young people and children have been disrupted."
Detectives appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
