Queen’s University could face contempt ruling over tree ring data

Queen's University could be held in contempt of court if it continues to refuse to hand 40 years of research on tree rings over to a climate change researcher.

The information had been sought by a man carrying out research into global warming, and now the Information Commissioner has backed him by telling Queen’s to provide him with the data.

Londoner Douglas Keenan asked for the information under the Freedom of Information Act. Queen's refused his 2007 request saying it would be too expensive to provide.

Queen's told the BBC it “is considering its position”.

Is this another "trick to hide the decline"?
It seems Northern Ireland has achieved international fame with it's very own Queen's University Climategate.As we say here in
.Northern Ireland ,the medieval warming period never went away. You know.
We should be very grateful to Douglas Keenan for his persistance and ashamed of our University authorities.
