Some 100 jobs have been created at a financial services firm.

Arvato Finance has built on its rapid expansion over the past year and plans to take on the additional staff at its new base in Dublin.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny opened the new offices in Eastpoint business park.

"Only one year ago we celebrated Arvato Finance's 15th anniversary in Ireland and its plans to create 150 new jobs by 2014," he said.

"I am delighted that Arvato has already delivered on its promise and is further expanding its employee numbers and physical presence here."

Arvato Finance provides tailor-made solutions for private and public sector clients around the world to operate.

Arvato has annual revenues of about 5.4 billion euro and contributes more than a third of the Bertelsmann group's annual revenues.
