High street chain Argos has announced plans to hire 800 temporary workers for the Christmas period.
The company said it will be taking on additional staff at all of its 41 stores during their busiest spell.
Managing director Terry Duddy said: "Argos is a fun, interesting and busy place to be over Christmas so we are excited about finding passionate and enthusiastic staff that can join the team.
"With thousands of customers passing through our doors over the period, the new recruits will really help us deliver great customer service this Christmas."
Argos, which employs 1,300 people in Ireland, has promised to offer new hires flexible working hours, training, competitive pay and an immediate 10% staff discount.
The company has launched the recruitment drive.
