A bar and entertainment group is to double its workforce this year after buying a number of new venues.
Dinn Ri will create 130 jobs in Waterford, bringing its total number of employees to 260.
The Carlow-based group bought four premises in the John Street area of Waterford late last year.
The Woodman Bar was reopened before Christmas and The Foundry Waterford nightclub is opening on Monday. The third and fourth venues will open at the end of the year.
Dinn Ri director Sean McLaughlin said he was confident the venues could be developed into successful businesses.
"We are delighted to be able to create so many jobs in the Waterford area at such a difficult time," he said.
