A cannabis cultivation factory has been uncovered by gardai.
About 800 plants and growing equipment worth some 640,000 euro (£517,000) were seized at a property at Clovewood, Derrylissane, Menlough, Co Galway at 2pm.
One man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and is detained at Galway Garda Station under Sect 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
