A man is being questioned over a shooting in Dublin.
A 30-year-old man was discovered in Fairgreen, Saggart, Co Dublin, with a gunshot wound to his leg shortly after midnight.
He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A garda spokesman said a man in his 30s was arrested a short time later.
"He is currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act 1939 at Lucan Garda Station," he said.
"The scene is preserved pending a full technical examination and inquiries are ongoing."
