A man has been charged over a shooting in Limerick.

Two houses were damaged in the attack on Lenihan Avenue on July 29, but no-one was injured.

Gardai said four people - two men and two women - were arrested in connection with the incident at Roxboro Garda Station on Thursday.

Two women and a man have been released without charge.

The second man aged in his 20s, was charged in connection with the incident and will appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court on Sunday.
