A diver has died after getting into difficulties off the Co Wexford coast.
The 25-year-old man was diving with a group off the Saltee Islands when the incident happened on Saturday morning.
The Irish Coast Guard was involved in the operation to rescue the man, who it is understand was forced to ascend rapidly to the surface.
The diver was later pronounced dead in hospital.
