A man has died in a road accident in Co Monaghan.
Gardai said the crash involved two cars at Colnoony, Drumully near Clones at about 3.50am on Saturday morning.
The man, 22, a front seat passenger, was killed after the car he was travelling in crashed into another vehicle.
The 21-year-old male driver was uninjured.
The 28-year-old man driving the second car was injured, but his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
The road is closed to allow an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardai appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
