Man dies in Co Louth road crash

The road has been closed for forensic and technical examination

A man in his 20s has died in a road crash in Co Louth.

The single vehicle collision occurred overnight on the Bog Road, Townspark, Ardee.

The incident was reported to gardai at 7am on Sunday morning.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

The road has been closed for forensic and technical examination.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have travelled on the Bog Road during the night to contact Ardee Garda Station.
