A man has been shot in the arms and legs in an apparent punishment attack in Donegal.
Gardai said at least two armed and masked men burst into a house at Legnatraw, near St Johnston, and opened fire on the 39-year-old.
The shooting happened between 10pm and 10.30pm on Tuesday night.
A 34-year-old woman who was in the house at the time was not injured.
Gardai said a silver 4x4 believed to have been used in the attack was located at Moness, a townland about 1.6km from the man's house shortly after the incident.
The injured man was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny General Hospital where his condition is described as not life-threatening.
