Man killed in two car crash in Co Donegal

A man has been was killed in a two vehicle collision in Co Donegal.

It happened in Dunkineely at around 10.45pm on Saturday night.

A van and a car were in collision resulting in the death of the 30-year-old male driver of the van.

The 21-year-old male driver of the car was injured, however his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The deceased was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place today.

The road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
