Rare blue lobster caught off Irish coast

A fisherman has caught a rare blue lobster off the Irish coast. It is thought that only one in almost three million lobsters is blue.

The blue lobster is reckoned to be the equivalent of an albino human and gets its extraordinary bright blue colour from a genetic defect.

The lobster has been put on display in a fish shop in Co Clare.
