Retailer Kilkenny Group is to create 60 jobs, it has announced.
The positions in sales, retail and administration will be based at its outlets around the country as well as its online store.
Recruitment is expected to be completed by the end of next year, increasing staff numbers at the family-run business to 265.
Marian O'Gorman, chief executive officer of the Kilkenny Group, said: "As an Irish company, we are delighted to be creating such levels of employment despite the current retail landscape."
The retail firm has opened four new stores since last year, in Trim, Co Meath, Douglas, Cork and in Stillorgan and Grafton Street in Dublin.
There are plans to open a further three stores by the end of next year. The company said it has also invested significantly in the expansion and relaunch of their online store, opened a larger warehouse facility in Cork and refurbished their Nassau Street restaurant in the capital.
"Irish consumers are recognising the importance of buying Irish and there has never been a greater need to support indigenous craft and businesses," said Ms O'Gorman.
"We foresee a number of factors as contributors to our growing business success over the next 12 months, including an increased number of suppliers in store, innovative new products, competitive price points as well as consumer support for 'brand Ireland'."
