Three men have been arrested over the gun murder of a man whose brother was also shot dead.
The men, two in their 20s and one in his 60s, were detained on Wednesday morning in Dublin as part of the investigation into the death of Christopher Warren.
Gardai said the 35-year-old, from St Teresa's Gardens in Dublin's south inner city, was shot at Royal Canal Bank, Phibsboro, in the north of the city, on the evening of December 28.
Someone then drove him to St James' Hospital on the southside and dumped him at A&E.
The arrested men were being held at garda stations in the north inner city.
A total of five people have been arrested as part of the murder investigation, gardai said.
