A motorcyclist and a van driver have been killed in separate road accidents.
A 26-year-old man was knocked from his motorbike and killed when he was in collision with a car near Ballyheigue, north Kerry.
The accident occurred at about 6.35pm on Sunday and no one else was injured.
Elsewhere, a 41-year-old man was killed when two vans collided at Tinnock, Gorey, Co Wexford, at 9.50pm.
The 38-year-old driver of the second van was seriously injured and taken to St Vincent's University Hospital in Dublin.
Gardai appealed for witnesses to both accidents.
