Urgent child rescue alert called off: Mum and three-year-old found safe

Missing three-year-old child and her mother Rachel have been found 'safe and well'.

They were found in Cavan, and gardai have thanked the public for their help.

Saoirse Carr was in the company of her mother, Rachel Mc Donald Carr (45).

Gardai had been concerned for Saoirse's welfare. They had been last seen at around 2.30pm today at their home at Holburn Hill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

They had been travelling in a blue MG registered number 02 D 13074.
