Ronaldo in car crash

Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo today escaped uninjured after his sportscar hit a roadside barrier, sources said.
The Portuguese international's Ferrari was involved in the collision in a tunnel near Manchester Airport at about 10.20am.
Ronaldo was able to get out of the vehicle himself and was spoken to by police at the scene.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said no-one was injured in the incident.
Greater Manchester Police said in a statement: "At about 10.20am police were called to the A538 Wilmslow Road near to Manchester Airport following reports of a road traffic collision.
"Officers attended and discovered a Ferrari had collided with a barrier.
"No one is believed to have been injured.
"Inquiries are continuing."
According to reports, the 23-year-old's vehicle was written off in the accident.
United confirmed the incident had taken place and that the Ballon d'Or winner was unhurt.
A club spokesman said: "He was involved in an incident this morning. No other cars were involved.
"He's fine and is training as normal with the team this morning."

no theres not, but maybe it was all those individual and collective trophies he's won that saved him from injury...jealousy

Is there any truth in the rumour that he got out of the car, fell to ground and rolled about three times clutching his ankle whilst calling for the ref to wave a yellow card ?
