Ulster quiz fans will be given the opportunity to test their mental agility next month with the arrival of a new general knowledge competition.
The National Lottery People's Quiz will be holding open auditions in Belfast on Monday January 29 in the hope of finding the country's quiz show talent.
Contestants will be given the chance to compete for a "life-changing" cash prize.
Among the stars who will be hosting the UK-wide auditions are Jamie Theakston, Myleene Klass, GMTV's Kate Garraway and Fifteen to One presenter William G Stewart.
"It's certainly one of the most exciting shows I've ever worked on," said host Jamie Theakston. "For the first time the whole nation can compete against each other to find out who is the best quizzer in the country."
The subjects range from Posh and Becks to party politics.
Contestants must answer 10 general knowledge questions correctly in a row to get through to the next round. This will be followed by at least three more rounds.
In a unique twist, every question for the initial heats will be published in advance of the auditions, allowing people to test their general knowledge and polish their quiz show skills.
The show will follow the X Factor format and Belfast's auditions will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Lanyon Place. Cameras will be there to record the biggest howlers.
