A Limavady man has again appeared in court after allegedly repeatedly harassing a woman in the town.
Phonsie Hasson (34), from Benevenagh Drive in the Londonderry town, was released earlier this month after serving time at Magilligan prison for similar charges in March 2009.
He faces charges of harassment and criminal damage to the woman’s home. Hasson’s solicitor told Londonderry Magistrate’s Court that the defendant telephoned a shop where the woman works, from Magilligan Prison, to talk to another person, and did not realise she would answer.
Magistrate Des Perry refused bail and ordered a pre-sentence report. Hasson was remanded in custody to reappear on September 23.
