This is the first photograph of the a man left critically injured near the scene of a fatal attack in Coleraine.
Damien Fleming's brother, Bobby, said he remains on a life support machine in a critical condition.
Damian Fleming, 46, was assaulted in nearby Pates Lane.
His brother, Bobby, told the BBC: "It's breaking all our hearts. I don't know if my brother is going to live or die".
