Storm warning for Lembit with Sian set to dish the dirt

Scorned weather girl Sian Lloyd is set to dish the dirt on her former Ulster fiance Lembit Opik in a no-holds-barred book detailing their relationship.

The Belfast-born Lib Dem MP was planning to wed the Welsh weather presenter, but dumped her for Cheeky Girl Gabriela Irimia. While Miss Lloyd licked her wounds, Mr Opik went public with his new romance with the Romanian pop star.

It is understood Miss Lloyd is now holed up at home in Wales battling to meet the two-week deadline on her new book Sunshine And Showers.

And Miss Lloyd is set to give Mr Opik even more cause for concern when he finds out that she has turned to another wronged woman for support - Chris Tarrant's ex wife Ingrid.

Sian is reported to have said: "We are the distressed women of London.

"In the book, I'll be telling the truth and talking about lessons learnt. It's been extremely therapeutic."

Mr Opik and Miss Lloyd dated for four years and got engaged in 2004.

Then, in December 2006, Mr Opik announced that the relationship was over and admitted he was seeing Gabriela. The couple insisted their relationship was not a 'pantomime' - as Miss Lloyd had described it.

In a statement Mr Opik issued at the time he said: "I continue to regard Sian as one of the brightest, most outgoing, hard-working and generous people that I have had the privilege to know.

"I hope that she will remember the happy times as we both go our separate ways. I wish the very best for her."

Sunshine and Showers is due for release next March.
