Streaker fined for dip in the nip

A streaker has had to fork out £150 for his daring ‘Lucky Dip’ 30-yard dash in Magherafelt town centre.

Dominic McFall, 21, stripped off outside the Lucky Dip Chinese carry out late on Saturday, June 13 and ran 30 yards until the police caught up with him.

McFall’s court excuse for the streak was he wanted to “lighten the mood” as police tried to separate two groups who had poured out of the pubs at closing time.

McFall, from Bann Crescent, Toomebridge appeared at Magherafelt Magistrate’s Court last week where he was given a £150 fine after admitting a charge of indecent behaviour.
