Kate Moss plans to marry boyfriend Jamie Hince in Ireland this winter.

Supermodel Kate Moss is to tie the knot before the end of the year in an idyllic ceremony in the Republic of Ireland.

The stunning clothes horse plans to wed boyfriend Jamie Hince this December and has just announced the Emerald Isle as her venue of choice.

The fashion icon has said she'd love to tie the knot on a rural country farm away from the glare of the media.

Revealing her plans at a recent party thrown at make-up artist, Charlotte Tilburry's Ibizan villa, the catwalk queen warned friends to “keep December free, for my wedding ceremony”.

Then the London fashion icon told her gang of friends: “I've already arranged the venue”.

Sending shockwaves of excitement through the showbiz circle Kate told pals her hairdresser, James Brown, had offered her the perfect location to make her vows — “his farm in Ireland”.

According to one close friend: “She likes it because the farm is in the middle of nowhere. It's off the beaten track, so there's no chance of anyone uninvited turning up”.

The star is said to be keen to keep the affair as low-key as possible as she is determined ex-beau Pete Doherty, “will not cause a scene or turn up unannounced”, to ruin her big day.

The gorgeous model was originally expected to marry Jamie, her boyfriend of one year, this September but the pair decided to postpone their nuptials after tensions arose early in the summer.

One of Kate's Ibiza party gang said: “There was a lot of talk of weddings as it is two years since make-up artist Charlotte got married.

“Kate told everyone that her and Jamie had made a deal to do it this year.”

During the weekend celebrations Moss, who was a bridesmaid when Charlotte wed in 2006, revealed that at 34 she is desperate to finally swap the bridesmaid's dress for a white gown of her own.

And the blonde beauty will have no excuse not to put on a lavish ceremony as she is set to strike a €33m deal with UK retailer Topshop to take their fashion line to China in the coming days.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, Moss is said to be in advanced negotiations to sign the lucrative agreement with Topshop owner Philip Green.

The high street chain has already launched the mother-of-one's clothing collections in the UK and US in a deal that has proved extremely lucrative for each party.

Finally, after the controversy of 2005 when glam Moss was dropped by labels H&M, Burberry and Rimmel over drug allegations and constant bad press over her ex, Pete, the British babe seems to have got both her career and love life back on track.

Gritty, moving and heroic...Billy plays captured life here

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times ... Sunday's 30th anniversary screening of the seminal Too Late to Talk to Billy was riveting viewing. But it wasn't nostalgic viewing.

Why trying to go on a diet is never really a piece of cake

Some people make New Year’s resolutions, I make lists. Every new year I determine to keep track of everything I spend and everything I eat and drink.

Scary movie? Their jaws were sore from laughing

Teenage boys love horror films and I have two who are in charge of the remote control in our house, so naturally there’s gore-a-plenty on the box most weekends. However, until recently one film was banned.
