The jury in the indecent assault trial of a brother of former Irish Presidential candidate Dana Rosemary Scallon will resume its delibertaions today.
The six men and six women did not return a verdict in the case against John Brown (60) yesterday after more than seven hours of deliberations over two days.
The singer's brother is charged with five counts of indecent assault against two children at various points during the 1970s.
His sister Dana was accused during the trial of seeking to cover up his offences and telling his alleged victims that God had forgiven him.
Brown, of Lilly Hill Road, Bracknell in Berkshire, denies the charges.
Two relate to a child under the age of 13 and three relate to a child under the age of 16.
