Double death unexplained: Police

Police are continuing their inquiry after two bodies were discovered in an Edinburgh house

The deaths of a husband and wife in their home are being treated as unexplained, police have said.

The couple, named locally as Ken and Donna Graham, were discovered in a house in Echline Gardens, South Queensferry, near Edinburgh, at about 5pm yesterday.

Police cordoned off part of the street to examine the scene and officers have been carrying out door-to-door inquiries in the area.

Post-mortem examinations are to be held later and the deaths are currently being treated as unexplained, police said.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Cunningham said: "An investigation team has been formed and we are currently at a very early stage, with officers carrying out door-to-door inquiries with neighbours and talking to the immediate family.

"At this time the deaths of the two people are being treated as unexplained and more information will be released as soon as it is available."
