Five schoolboys have been arrested after a 12-year-old girl claimed she had been raped, police said.

The boys, aged 12 and 13, have been released on bail while enquiries continue, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.

The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Friday in Rastrick, Brighouse.

It was reported to officers on Saturday. The spokesman said the investigation remains ongoing.
