Four-year-old dies in wall collapse

Avon and Somerset Police confirmed a four-year-old girl died after a wall collapsed in Bath

A four-year-old girl has died after a wall fell on her at her family home, police said.

The girl, who has not been named, died in the incident at the property in Haycombe Drive, Bath, at around 4pm on Friday.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We were called on Friday afternoon at around 4pm and the girl was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

"Her death has been deemed non-suspicious and referred to the Avon Coroner."
