Man killed in paragliding accident

A man has died after an accident while paragliding at a Welsh beach
A 43-year-old man was seriously injured while paragliding at Newgale, near Haverfordwest

A man has died after an accident while paragliding at a Welsh beach.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the 43-year-old was seriously injured while taking part in the activity at Newgale, near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire, west Wales, shortly before 2.30pm on Sunday.

He was airlifted by RAF rescue helicopter to Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest but later died of his injuries, a police spokesman said. His next-of-kin have been informed.
