TV presenter Kate Silverton has given birth to a baby girl.
Clemency Florence Rose was delivered naturally late on Saturday night, weighing 8lbs 9oz.
The BBC Breakfast host said: "Clemency has big lips and big feet like her mummy."
Her agent said in a statement: "Mother and baby are doing very, very well."
Silverton, 41, had been told she was unlikely to get pregnant without help after losing an ovary during an operation to remove a cyst when she was 29.
The presenter and her husband Mike Heron had tried four cycles of IVF and acupuncture without success. They had resigned themselves to being childless, until she conceived naturally.
Her agent added: "Mike and Kate would like to express their thanks to the NHS staff at Queen Charlotte's Hospital in Hammersmith, especially leading midwife Jenny Smith and Dr Gowri Motha, for their help and support in ensuring Kate and Clemency had a natural and as gentle a birth as possible."
