An appeal to trace a student missing since a New Year's Eve party will extend to Sunday's Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool.
Souvik Pal, 18, disappeared on a night out at the Warehouse Project in Trafford, Greater Manchester. He was last seen at the event at about 11pm and was reported missing by a flatmate the following morning.
Mr Pal is an international student from India and is studying at Manchester Metropolitan University. He had trained for a part-time job serving refreshments at Old Trafford and worked at the game against West Bromwich Albion on December 29.
The appeal will be shown on pitchside digital advertising hoardings in the build-up to this weekend's match and the stadium announcer will ask fans with any information on his disappearance to call the police.
Detective Chief Inspector Colin Larkin said: "The police and the family of Souvik Pal are grateful to Manchester United for their support for this appeal.
"Souvik was last seen near the Warehouse Project, which is not far from Old Trafford. We hope that there could be someone among the crowd who may have some information that could help us.
"While our intensive inquiries are ongoing - including looking through hours of CCTV - there has sadly been little response from our appeals so we urge anyone who may have information on his whereabouts to call us."
Mr Pal's father Santanu has travelled from his home in Bangalore to help with the search.
The teenager has a scar on the right side of his forehead and when last seen he was wearing a pale denim long-sleeved shirt with a collar, grey chino trousers and navy blue leather boots.
Anyone with information should call police on 0161 856 4223 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
