A 15-year-old girl appeared at the Old Bailey today accused of killing a 16-year-old girl with a steel comb.
The teenager, who cannot be named, is charged with murdering Julie Sheriff, who died on September 21 after being attacked on May 7.
She died of a brain injury after being stabbed in the head with the comb in Falcon Road, Battersea, south London.
Julie, who was visiting friends in the area, had been in a coma since the incident.
The defendant, of no fixed address, was remanded to secure accommodation to face trial on January 23 next year.
No bail application was made.
