Three people die as car overturns

Three people have died after a car overturned in Greater Manchester

A child and two adults were killed when a car overturned at a roundabout, police said.

Police were called to Broadgate in Chadderton - near Oldham, Greater Manchester - following reports a black Cadillac people carrier had overturned near Chadderton Police Station.

A police spokesman said: "Two adults and a child died at the scene.

"Two adults were seriously injured and another adult has minor injuries and all three have been taken to hospital."

The car overturned near the roundabout at the end of the slip road from the M60.

The exit slip road from the clockwise M60 at junction 21 (Chadderton) is closed and Broadgate is closed.

Police are interested in speaking to anyone with information about the collision and, in particular, anyone who was travelling along the clockwise carriageway of the M60 at or around the time and saw a black Cadillac people carrier.
