Two held as missing girl is found

Police have found missing Hereford 12-year-old Kerry Goddard

Police have arrested two men after tracing a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Thursday night.

West Mercia Police said Kerry Goddard was found safe and well at a house in Hereford after extensive inquiries to establish her whereabouts.

A police spokesman confirmed that two 19-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of child abduction in connection with the investigation and are in custody helping officers with their inquiries.

"We would like to thank those members of the public who have helped us with information during the search for Kerry," the spokesman said.
