Woman's Ascot punt after dream about Queen's hats

A punter has £2,500 riding on the Queen's choice of hats for Ascot
Tensions have been raised over a possible meeting between the Queen and Sinn Fein's Martin McGuinness

A woman is betting on the colour of hats the Queen will wear during Royal Ascot after having a vivid dream about Her Majesty’s choice of millinery for the race meeting.

Lauren Evans stands to win £2,500 after putting a £5 accumulator on the Queen’s choice of a blue hat today, pink tomorrow, yellow on Thursday, purple on Friday and blue again on Saturday.

The 23-year-old from London said: “I had a dream about it and the colours were so vivid. I just had to put my money where my mouth is,” the Sun reported.
