Fresh talks aimed at resolving the bitter British Airways cabin crew dispute will be held today as staff stage their third day of strike action.

Tony Woodley, joint leader of Unite, will travel to London from Manchester - where his union is holding its annual conference - to meet the airline under conciliation service Acas.

The surprise move was revealed as cabin crew continued with industrial action although there was little sign of a breakthrough to the deadlocked row.
