Man arrested over Victoria Square bomb attack is released
Police investigating a bomb attack in Belfast city centre have arrested and released a 27-year-old man without charge.
Masked men hijacked a car and forced the driver to transport a 60kg bomb to the car park of the Victoria Square centre on 24 November. The centre is close to a police station.
The device only partially exploded. No one was injured and no significant damage was caused to surrounding property.
The man was questioned at Antrim police station on Wednesday and released unconditionally.
