Man stabbed in north Belfast

A man has been stabbed in north Belfast.

It happened on Ladbrook Drive in the early hours of this morning, as the man was out walking with a friend.

He was knifed from behind in the abdomen. It is believed that he may have spoken to his attacker before the assault happened.

His injuries are serious but not thought to be life threatening.

The attacker was described as being 5ft 4ins tall, had black hair and was wearing dark jeans.
