A Dongeal taxi driver has been remanded in custody until next month after appearing in court yesterday charged with attempting to cause death or grievous bodily injury to three men.
Robert Paul McBride, from Gortree, Newtowncunningham, is alleged to have knocked down the men in the forecourt of a garage in Londonderry two weeks ago.
A police officer told the court that CCTV recordings showed the three men being hit by the defendant's car.
All three were later treated in hospital.
