Memorial to murdered policewoman

A memorial to murdered police officer Sharon Beshenivsky will be unveiled today at the place where she was shot during an armed raid.
Pc Beshenivsky (38) was shot by two men as she responded to an alarm call at the Universal Travel Agents in Morley Street, Bradford, West Yorkshire, on November 18, 2005.
The officer’s family and former colleagues will pay tribute to her sacrifice by unveiling a memorial stone from the Police Memorial Trust in a ceremony.
Among those speaking at the event will be Pc Beshenivsky’s widower Paul and West Yorkshire Police Chief Constable Sir Norman Bettison.
