MI5 in plea for information on Northern Ireland killings

Published 13/03/2009

Security Service MI5 last night joined the appeals for information on the killings of a police officer and two soldiers in Northern Ireland.

An email sent to internet users who subscribe to updates to the MI5 website invites anyone with information to contact the service directly.

It appears alongside details of the police appeal for information on the attacks, for which dissident republican groups have claimed responsibility.

It includes a link to the website explaining how to contact the service via a London address, secure internet link, or by telephone.
