Published 27/05/2008 | 12:52

Police in Jersey have uncovered more bone fragments and a child's tooth at the care home where scores of children are believed to have been abused between the 1960s and 1980s.

Forensic experts have been working for months to excavate underground cellars where the abuse is alleged to have taken place at the Haut de la Garenne facility.

At least 30 bone fragments and seven milk teeth have been recovered during the search.

More than 100 people have claimed they were abused at Haut de la Garenne.
