19-year-old sexually assaulted

Police investigating a sex attack on a teenage girl in Northern Ireland have urged witnesses to come forward.

The 19-year-old victim reported being sexually assaulted at a car park near the Coastguard Station on Quay Street in Bangor.

Investigators have asked anyone who saw suspicious activity involving a blue four-door car in the area between 11pm last night and 1.30am to contact them.

They also want to speak with a woman who helped the victim, fed her and drove her home to Belfast afterwards.
