1m euro of cannabis seized at port
More than one million euro-worth of cannabis has been seized at Dublin Port.
The drugs were discovered in a 40ft truck that arrived from Holyhead.
Two suspects - one from Armagh in Northern Ireland and one from England - were arrested at the scene and are being questioned at Store Street Garda station.
Revenue's customs officers and gardai were involved in the operation.
The haul, which included 99kg of cannabis resin and 44kg of herbal cannabis - each worth about 550,000 euro - was discovered during routine profiling.
A customs spokeswoman said a drug detection dog reacted when the truck was stopped.
The drugs had been concealed in bags marked for woodchip and large food tins, she said.
The 30-year-old from the north and the 27-year-old Briton can be held for up to seven days under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
