Drugs with an estimated street value of more than £50,000 have been seized.

The suspected ecstasy tablets were found when detectives from the PSNI's organised crime branch and UK Border Force officials intercepted two parcels.

Detective Sergeant Martin McAuley said: "This seizure is another example of the PSNI's commitment to policing the threat posed by drugs in Northern Ireland and we will continue to work alongside our partner agencies in relation to the illegal supply of drugs."

For legal reasons the PSNI is unable to disclose the origin or destination of the parcels.
