Air rage Belfast man Michael McQuillan pleads guilty
A Belfast man has admitted behaving in a disorderly manner towards crew in an air rage incident.
Michael McQuillan also pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to obey a lawful command which the commander of the aircraft gave for the purpose of securing the safety of the aircraft.
A third charge of endangering the safety of an aircraft was withdrawn by a prosecutor at Antrim Magistrates Court.
Defence barrister Chris Sherrard said it was a "serious enough matter" committed by the 34-year-old from Owenvale Mews in Springfield Park, west Belfast.
The incident happened on November 20 last year.
The full facts of the case have yet to be outlined to the court.
McQuillan was told by District Judge Peter King that given the nature of the charges and his criminal record it is a case which requires a pre-sentence report.
The case was adjourned until February.
