Alliance and UUP hit back at First Minister's accusations
Opposition parties at Stormont have hit back at Arlene Foster's claims they "scuppered everything" in the last Executive.
With Alliance and Ulster Unionists, as well as the SDLP, now no longer taking ministerial office, the First Minister claimed they had formed an "internal opposition".
The First Minister told the Belfast Telegraph: "In the last Executive we had an internal opposition. Everything we tried to do was scuppered. It was very frustrating,"
But Alliance hit back yesterday claiming the real 'fault line' in the last Executive had been between the DUP and Sinn Fein.
And the Ulster Unionist Party claimed Mrs Foster had been "entirely responsible" for the millions of pounds of public money due to be lost through the renewable heating incentive scheme.
Economy spokesman Steve Aiken said: "Arlene Foster's party conference speech was conspicuous by the absence of any mention of the Renewable Heat Incentive scheme."
