Ammunition rounds seized by police

Up to 200 rounds of ammunition have been recovered by police in Belfast.

The discovery was made at Duncairn Parade in the north of the city yesterday afternoon.

Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) detective sergeant Ken Leckey said: "Approximately 200 rounds of ammunition have been seized and taken away for further examination."

The PSNI has appealed for anyone with information to contact CID at Tennent Street police station on the non-emergency 101 number.
