Anti-social gangs in east Belfast blasted by police
Police have urged parents to warn their children of anti-social gangs after two petrol bombs were thrown in east Belfast.
They have also appealed for calm following the incident on Tuesday night in the Newtownards Road area of the city.
Detectives want to hear from anyone with information about the petrol bombs as well as the discovery of a number of similar devices and paint bombs in Kenilworth Place.
No injuries were caused during the disturbances which broke out just after 10pm.
Chief Inspector David Moore said during talks with community representatives across east Belfast, they had condemned "this type of behaviour".
